Objectives

To foster English and Spanish communication and thinking skills in which they develop sensibility towards moral and ethical values that will enable them to become positive and productive human beings, respect themselves, their families, and their culture as well as others.



Strive to develop citizens capable of communicating both in Spanish and English.

 

The content taught in every subject responds to the competencies in attitudes, knowledge, and skills of the student. All subjects are important; emphasis varies according to the requirements of each one. Our faculty is committed to attaining Edison’s whole child, and it’s our most important human resource.

How can parents support Bilingual Education?


 

  • Believe in your son/daughter’s capability of learning two languages simultaneously at an early age.
  • Reinforce language skills at home on a regular basis.
  • Promote use of English programming and movies without subtitles.
  • Implement computer programs and technology to develop and reinforce skills taught in school.
  • Read different materials with your child every day, such as books, magazines, newspapers, and manuals.
  • Practice writing with the child. Make lists, notes, or keep a diary.
  • Talk in English with your child. Speaking and listening are very important skills.
  • Speak in English during daily activities such as playing games, singing, and dancing.
