Mission The Piper Lighthouse

The mission of “The Piper Lighthouse” is to provide a learning environment with a variety of intentional, innovative, and playful activities that not only support the appropriate development of growth stages, but those abilities that distinguish the Edison student. These activities include music, art, physical education, experiments, strategies that support bilingual language development, and family/community-connection experiences, among others, in an environment that is filled with love and mutual respect. The Piper Lighthouse experience is the

beginning of the development of a whole individual.

The Piper Lighthouse Hours

Piper is open Monday through Friday, excluding holidays and special dates indicated on the Piper calendar.

Entry time:

6:30am – Piper students enrolled in extended care (AM)

7:00 am – Piper Infants

7:30 am – Piper Tots and Piper Kids

Exit time:

3:00 pm – Piper Tots and Piper Kids

5:30 pm – Piper Infants and students enrolled in extended care (PM)

Students picked up after 3:00 pm will go to the extended care program, which will have an additional cost.

Facilities

• Classrooms:  Piper Infants, Piper Tots and Piper Kids
• Additional Areas:  Bathrooms and changing area
• Indoor and Outdoor Patio
• The basketball court, library, lunchroom, laboratories, nursing and other areas in Edison are available if needed by Piper.
