Over the years, Edison has been refining its distinctive preschool program, which has shown to be incredibly effective and successful. For Edison the Kinder-1 level entails those students that are four years old and entering the preschool level. The curriculum for this grade is based on the guidelines of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). The series Wonders for Pre-kinder is used. World of Wonders provides the support and structure children need, while building a cross curricular knowledge, establishing classroom routines through diversified instructional pathways—all while giving kids the framework and support they need for early reading.
